Final Fantasy XV's trailer was among the most talked about teasers of 2014. This was for good reason: It's visuals were stunning, and it showed off a developing title set to get the once-renowned RPG franchise back on track.

Now, you can hear the trailer for Final Fantasy XV in English. According to Polygon, the names of the heroes in the trailer are: Noctis, Prompto, Gladiolus, and Ignis.

They are all characters that look like models from a Hollister catalog, and they are driving across a mythical landscape as they reminisce about a woman.

The Final Fantasy franchise was among the video game industry's premiere series in the nineties and early 2000s. Critics started to review the franchise less favorably when Final Fantasy XIII was released: it currently holds as score 83 on Metacritic.

Destructoid stated that the game was a "pompous" addition to the series.

Final Fantasy XIII-2--the first direct sequel for a Final Fantasy game since X-2--received worse feedback. But it currently holds a score of 79 on Metacritic, and Edge Magazine stated that its missions were "formulaic."

If there is a way that Square Enix can get fans excited, however, it is through an eye-catching trailer. The company promises at the beginning of the teaser to deliver better visuals than the ones shown in the preview.

Final Fantasy XV currently has no release date. For more about the franchise, visit its official website here.
