The first footage of Solo: A Star Wars Story is out now and reception for the first trailer has been mixed at best.

The main criticism people have about the film so far is that Alden Ehrenreich does not look or sound anything like Harrison Ford.

Alden Ehrenreich is supposed to be playing a younger version of the Han Solo character, but sadly many fans cannot see why Disney and Lucasfilm cast him in the first place.

His delivery of the lines he's been given does not sound as low as Harrison Ford's.

I was browsing through the comments section and an interesting name kept popping up.

People were saying that Canadian actor Anthony Ingruber should have been cast as a young Han Solo instead. Looking at a video he posted back in 2008, I have to say Ingruber should have been cast in the movie over Ehrenreich.

Anthony Ingruber is not just a nobody either because he does have acting experience and is currently around the same age as Ehrenreigh both actors are now 28 years old.

Looking at Ingruber's filmography on Wikipedia, you can see that he has starred in various TV shows, films and video games in the past.

It has been reported in the past that over 2,500 actors were auditioned for the role of a young Han Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

It's unfortunate Disney did not choose Ingruber as he would have been perfect for the role.

Casting the right person is very important in making a film good or great. I remember hating Spider-Man 3 and Batman v Superman because Topher Grace and Jesse Eisenberg were horrible choices for Venom/Eddie Brock and Lex Luthor respectively.

That said, I actually liked most of the trailer that I saw in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Only Alden Ehrenreich's acting made me cringe on the inside.

Anyway, you can watch Anthony Ingruber's impersonation of Han Solo in the video down below. Did Disney make a huge mistake of not choosing this guy?
