Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.

2 could be one of Marvel Studios' best ever received movies judging by a recent test screening that took place earlier this week.

The first movie was received really well when it came out back in 2014 and this sequel is shaping up to be even better.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 scored an extremely rare 100 score during its first test screening.

This is the first ever Marvel Studios movie to reach this feat. The other two movies to score in the high 90s included The Avengers and Iron Man 3.

It's worth mentioning there is a bit of a bias over the test score because Marvel Studios never invites random strangers to watch their movies during test screenings. It instead selects friends and family members during screenings.

Before you think Marvel is getting cocky, the main reason it does this is to avoid spoilers and footage from leaking out.

After all, comic book fans are some of the most eager people on the planet and any spoiler details are sure to leak wildly on the internet.

Still, for a movie to score a perfect score of 100 is not to be snuffed at. The first Guardians of the Galaxy movie has a respectable 91 percent rating over on Rotten Tomatoes so it's possible the sequel will get a similar level of praise.

After all, the sequel adds new characters to the mix and people are now more familiar with the characters.

Judging by the trailers that have been released so far, Baby Groot and Drax are the two most popular characters on the team.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.

2 won't be out until May 5th, 2017 over in North America with a late April release in many other countries.

Both Marvel Studios and Disney should be happy with the marketing for the film thus far as everyone seems to like what this sequel has to offer.
