"Guardians of the Galaxy" was released as of 12AM and there has been nothing but incredibly positive reviews from critics and moviegoers alike.

"'Guardians of the Galaxy' is the most successful space western since the first 'Star Wars' trilogy," says Tom Long of the Detroit News, "an irreverent mix of mismatched characters, heavy-handed baddies and huge battle sequences spiced up with sharp one-liners and a healthy helping of attitude."

"...the Disney-Marvel sci-fi superhero comedy Guardians of the Galaxy is indeed as great as you've heard," said Mark Hughes of Forbes.com, "and all the evidence points to an opening weekend in the $65-70 million range, a combo that spells "winner" and should help at least silence the speculation about an outright box office flop, leaving only second weekend gross as final confirmation of which way the wind is blowing for director James Gunn on his first big-budget production."

"'Pulp Fiction' meets 'Star Wars' in this rock-driven, tongue-in-cheek space-opera," according to Rafer Guzman of Newsday. "Refreshingly smart and funny."

Clearly the James Gunn has done something right as most reviews have been encouraging with many of them saying that this might be the best Marvel movie yet. Check out what the fans are saying below.
