Goldberg's stint in the WWE has expired for now. He was only contracted to work from November until WrestleMania 33.

Goldberg addressed his future during an impromptu moment after Raw went off the air. His unscripted segment aired on the WWE Network instead.

Goldberg wanted to talk to the fans for one last time before he leaves.

He says the reason he came back in the first place was because of his family. His son never got a chance to see him wrestle in his prime, so he came back in order to make him happy.

He even addressed that WrestleMania 20 was a "debacle" but said he and Brock Lesnar did a great job of putting on a good match at WrestleMania 33.

The crowd was actually very respectable to Goldberg and didn't really boo or distract him. This is interesting since the crowd booed his name earlier in the night when Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar were in the ring.

He then talked about the time he was WWE Universal Champion and visited his son's school.

He looked at his kid's face and all of the smiles on the children and felt very happy.

To the young kids, he felt like the same invincible hero back in the late '90s when he was on top at WCW.

This may have sounded like a retirement speech, but Goldberg left the door open for one more match. He said you never know what or who might come next.

He ended his speech by saying "never say never". After that, he took his son around and greeted all of the fans sitting at ringside.

Goldberg's speech was similar to the one Sting made two years ago. Sting didn't retire after WrestleMania 31 since he had one more match against Seth Rollins six months later.

It's possible Goldberg could have one more run if his son wants him to do it and if WWE can give him another good opponent to work with. Will we see Roman Reigns vs. Goldberg in the future?
