"Random" features G-Eazy's signature flow and a sinister beat.

G-Eazy expresses that the song "Random" is the anthem and the fact that he is young, rich and handsome is not "Random." G-Eazy's lyrics are all about pushing reality, bragging and making his haters feel horrible about themselves through his skill.

These Things Happen was one of G-Eazy's best albums thus far and he seems to be following it up in grand fashion.

"I'm inspired by retro, Americana, mid-century-timeless [style]," said G-Eazy in an interview with Fuse.

"Not something that's so in-and-out and loud and trendy, but something that's classic American. ... And that's how I treat my music; I don't wanna be a fad, I wanna be here forever."

When It's Dark Out is scheduled for a December 4 release. Along with "Random" G-Eazy also released two other singles, "Me, MySelf and I" and "You Got Me."
