The Flash Season 4 Adds A Battlestar Galactica Actress As A Villain

Battlestar Galactica alum, Katee Sackhoff, has now been cast as a new villain for The Flash Season 4. She will be playing the character of Amunet Black, a.k.a Blacksmith.

Entertainment Weekly broke the news as her character is a recurring role. This means she won't just be appearing in one episode so we may see her throughout the fourth season.

She will make her debut in the episode called "Girls Night Out" which is episode 5 of season four. A description of her character is posted below.

A steely and badass boss of an underground black market for supervillains. Amunet uses every means possible, including the long list of metahumans under her thumb, to ensure her illicit enterprise thrives.

The character of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) is also making an appearance in this episode.

It will be interesting to see what other threats are ahead for not only The Flash, but the wider Arrowverse. There is going to be another big crossover with the other DC CW television shows.

The Flash returns ths October 10th on the CW Network. At the end of Season 3, we saw Barry Allen step inside the Speed Force.

The first episode of the fourth season will focus on his friends trying to get him out of there. It's being said that Barry Allen won't feel the same way he did previously once he gets out.

The fourth season is also going to feel different because the main villain won't be a speedster.

The previous three seasons felt familiar with the main villain being super fast and revealing a secret identity. The show writers are hoping this new season won't tread the same storylines...
