The Flash Brings On An Arrow Guest Star For Penultimate Episode Of Season 4

For a season that was supposed to be lighter, the show has definitely been rather dark over the last few weeks following the "death" of Ralph Dibny as DeVoe took over his body.

We still have no idea how the season will shake out in the end, but we do have a better idea about the episode right before the finale titled "Think Fast."

Due to not airing a new episode one additional week during the season, The Flash will be airing one additional week beyond the Arrow season six finale, meaning that it still has four to go.

We've previously gotten episode descriptions for the next couple, and now the latest has come out for "Think Fast" from The CW.

DAVID RAMSEY GUEST STARS — When DeVoe assaults an A.R.G.U.S. facility to complete his Enlightenment Machine, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes the only way he can stop him is if he allows Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) to accompany him into the facility. Still shaken by Ralph’s death, Barry isn’t sure he wants to risk any more of his friends’ lives and considers taking on DeVoe solo. Viet Nguyen directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Kristen Kim.

The biggest takeaway from this description is that Arrow's David Ramsey, who plays John Diggle, will be guest starring in this episode.

It will be interesting to see what role he will play, but considering that Diggle left Team Arrow recently to work at ARGUS, it's no surprise that he will be showing up when DeVoe goes after one of their facilities.

These are the types of little crossovers that I love to see in the Arrowverse, with a character we recognize just showing up for an episode here or there like this.

It is also interesting why Caitlin will be needed to help take down DeVoe since she no longer has her Killer Frost powers.

Perhaps she figures out a way to get them back or thinks going against DeVoe will allow her to get them back.

The Flash's 22nd episode of its fourths season titled "Think Fast" will be airing on May 15th.
