The Flash And Supergirl Actors Have Been Upgraded To Series Regulars

Season 3 of Supergirl and Season 4 of The Flash have aired and both shows introduced viewers to new characters. Well these new characters will be upgraded in the upcoming seasons becoming series regulars.

TV Line has reported that Jesse Rath will be upgraded to be a series regular in Season 4 of Supergirl. You may know him as the actor that portrayed Brainiac 5 in the new season.

Executive producers, Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller, commented on Rath being a series regular next season. You can read their comments about it posted down below.

"We love the character of Brainiac-5 and can’t imagine anyone but Jesse Rath in the role. He brings such fun, heart and brilliance to Brainy, and we’re so excited he’s joining the cast as a series regular for season 4. We have a lot of great Brainy stories to tell."

In slightly related news, The CW has confirmed that actor Hartley Sawyer has joined Season 5 of The Flash being a series regular too. You may remember Sawyer for playing the character of Ralph Dibney aka. the Elongated Man.

He's not the only series regular being upgraded for Season 5 of The Flash. Danielle Nicolet who plays Cecile Horton has also been added as a series regular next season so Team Flash keeps getting bigger and bigger!

Both Season 4 of Supergirl and Season 5 of The Flash will be airing on The CW later this year.
