Ocean's 11 was a famous movie made back in the '60s that was later revived in the '00s starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt and many ther A list stars.

Now the franchise is getting an all female version called Ocean's 8.

Sandra Bullock is the main character playing the role of Debbie Ocean who is the sister of George Clooney's Danny Ocean.

She is soon going to leave prison, although it looks like she will not stay out of the crime business for long.

It appears Cate Blanchett plays Lou who is similar to Brad Pitt's character in the male movies. She is Ocean's right hand woman and Blanchett acts very differently here than she did as Hela in the recently released Thor: Ragnarok.

Some other recognizable stars in the main cast of Ocean's 8 include Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway.

Much like the other films in the franchise, Bullock's Ocean character plans to do a big heist with all of the friends she can recruit.

Outside of the main cast, many famous people are in the movie for cameos. This includes the likes of Matt Damon, Kim Kardashian, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and many more.

Looking at the trailer, Ocean's 8 will once again be a comedy. There are several funny scenes in the trailer and thankfully it does not spoil too much about the film.

Hopefully this film is able to overcome some online criticism towards an all female cast. Sony's Ghostbusters reboot in 2016 was poorly received by fans as they missed the original cast.

The film is being directed by Gary Ross who helmed the first Hunger Games movie back in 2012. Steven Soderbergh directed the George Clooney trilogy, but will only serve as a producer in this new iteration.

You can look at the first new trailer down below. Ocean's 8 will be released in North America on June 8th, 2018.
