Toei Animation has finally revealed some of the first footage from the exciting Dragon Ball Super movie that will be out on December 14th, 2018.

From the look of things, it appears the movie will have higher quality animation compared to the TV show that has been airing since July 2015.

As expected, Goku will once again be the main character in this Dragon Ball Super movie and he's wearing his classic outfit.

The first trailer does not show much, but Goku will have to face up against a menacing new bad guy that looks huge and has big muscles.

The movie will have original character design, screenplay and an original story all orchestrated by the series' creator Akira Toriyama.

It's expected the movie should have a worldwide release so hopefully people living outside of Japan don't have to wait too long to watch it.

The trailer also gave us some small hints on what the movie is about. You can read the slogans written about the movie down below.

A new adventure to be the strongest begins. A Saiyan has no limits. Earth has Goku.

It's hard to tell from the trailer what this means for the current Tournament of Power arc that has its final episode this Sunday. It could be an indication that Universe 7 wins the whole thing since Goku is still alive.

Anyway, more details about the film will be shared on Sunday when episode 131 of Dragon Ball Super airs.

It's great to see the Super franchise is still going as this movie looks like it could be a blast to watch when it comes out this December,
