Whenever a new Star Wars movie comes out, a lot of hype surrounds it because fans do not want to experience the disappointment of the prequels ever again.

Well fans can breathe a sigh of relief because it sounds like Star Wars: The Last Jedi is another mega hit.

While we still have to wait for the actual review embargo to be lifted, many critics were lucky enough to watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi at the premiere this week.

They were able to share their thoughts on social media and the reactions are mostly positive.

Heroic Hollywood collected many of the tweets that were posted by the media.

ComicBook.com's James Viscardi posted on Twitter that The Last Jedi could be his favorite Star Wars movie of all time. He also said that it is an entertaining and funny movie too.

Slashfilm.com's Peter Sciretta also posted on Twitter very positive reactions to the film. He said: "Star Wars: The Last Jedi is so very different, exciting, surprising. So many emotions, so many amazing moments. Stay away from spoilers."

Umberto Gonzalez from The Wrap and Heroic Hollywood loved the Porgs in the movie and also called it very emotional. He already wants to watch the movie again when he has the chance to.

Lastly we have Erik Davis from Fandango and he says the film is the best one since The Empire Strikes Back. He said: "#TheLastJedi is absolutely fantastic - gripping, touching, funny and powerful w/ gorgeous shots and the most badass battles.

When it gets going, holy crap does it get going. Hands down the best #StarWars movie since Empire".
