First Preview Footage For Solo: A Star Wars Story Sounds Promising

While we all have to wait until Disney releases the first trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story, a small preview for the film was shown at a press event in Germany.

The good news is that the footage seen so far by some people have had a positive reaction.

German resident Holger Frick got a chance to see the first footage from Solo: A Star Wars Story and his first reactions are positive. You can read what he said on his Facebook page down below.

I just saw a Sneak Peak (EPK reel) of "SOLO - A Star Wars Story" and I must say I'm really really overwhelmed of how freaggin good it looks! (nothing about the story yet). Alden Ehrenreich is amazing as Han Solo, and so is Donald Glover as Lando, Emilia Clarke and Woody Harrelson look awesome and it definitely had an "old" Star Wars Feel to it!!Looks like this could be the `fan-service-movie` some of the older Star Wars fans wanted from Episode VIII. Can't wait for an official trailer and it's only 4 months to release! OMG!

There were some rumored concerns that Alden Ehrenreich was not a good actor, but this initial reaction sounds promising.

Hopefully the film is able to recapture fans that are down on the franchise due to the divisive nature of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

A lot of work has been put into Solo: A Star Wars Story mainly because a director change and many re-shoots have had to happen.

It's amazing to me that Disney is still planning to release the movie in May instead of delaying it until December.

That said, it sounds like the film is mostly complete which is why Disney is sticking to its original release date for the movie.

Hopefully the film can still be a success since it's releasing a few weeks after both Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2.
