Marvel Studios is going to have a big 2018, although things are going to become smaller in July thanks to the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Marvel Studios has now uploaded the first trailer for the film and it looks like it will a a very fun and entertaining movie.

When the first Ant-Man film came out in 2015, there were doubts about how good it was going to be. Ant-Man was one of Marvel's lesser known comic book heroes and the film's production was not smooth either.

This is because Marvel let go of the original director Edgar Wright and replaced him with Peyton Reed. Alas once the first film came out, it became a surprise hit and was successful enough to warrant this 2018 sequel.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is said to be Marvel's first romantic comedy, although this first trailer focuses more on the breathtaking action scenes we will see in the new movie.

The fact that the characters can shrink and re-grow makes the movie very unique.

The sequel takes place shortly after the events of Captain America: Civil War so Scott Lang (Ant-Man), Hope van Dyke (The Wasp) and Hank Pym are all on the run from the FBI. It's safe to say the film is taking place before the events of Avengers: Infinity War even though the latter film is coming out two months earlier.

The film stars Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Wasp plus Michael Douglas as Hank Pym. Many other original cast members are returning, with the major new addition being Laurence Fishburne playing the role of Bill Foster.

Ant-Man and the Wasp will be released in North America on July 6th, 2018. The movie will be available for you to watch in 2D, 3D and even IMAX.
