ComicFiesta 2014 was last weekend in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. And Square Enix was nostalgic about their flagship series, Final Fantasy.

They held a panel called "The History and Future of Final Fantasy," according to Dual Shockers.

This included Final Fantasy XV: Concept art and NPC footage was teased from the upcoming title which made headlines with its trailer earlier this year. The concept art focused on the city of Lestalllum, which was inspired by: Cuba, Back to the Future 2, and New York City.

You will be able to travel by train in Lestallum, and they will be explorable. In addition, the developers of the game are going to make NPC's look different depending on which region of the world they live in.

The concept art has futuristic themes consistent with the game's trailer. There are airships, gondolas, and cities resting on the side of scenic cliffs.

Final Fantasy XV will be the series' first numbered installment on the next-gen consoles. The trailer, released in September, featured a group of men travelling in a car and discussing their lives.

While the visuals in the teaser were impressive, Square Enix promised to deliver better graphics in the final product.

Final Fantasy XV is expected to launch in 2015 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but there has been no announcement about an official release date. For more about the title, visit its official website here.
