Customization is big in contemporary gaming: from designing your own assassin in Assassin's Creed Unity to creating your own super soldier in Call of Duty, everybody wants to put a personal touch to an otherwise mass-produced game.

With Create Your Minis, that level of customization will be entering the world of board top miniature gaming. The project is close to being completely funded on Kickstarter--needing roughly $9,000 more of its $33,000 goal.

With the website, you will be able to create your own 3-D printed miniatures.

"Createyourminis is about letting you design through our website your own 28/32mm miniatures," Create Your Minis stated on its Kickstarter page.

"You choose the type of model you want, like man or woman, then select the clothes, the weapon, the equipment. Once you are done, you choose how the weapon is held then select a pose among the compatible poses."

The purpose of the Kickstarter, according to the people behind the project, is to allow for greater customization of the miniatures.

"Among the numerous features, the most important in regard of this kickstarter campaign is the possibility to add symbols on some flat elements, usually shields, torso armors or shoulder pads," Create Your Minis stated.

"You can even add those symbols on some elements of the weapon sprue so you can convert other miniatures."

If you're a fan of Warhammer, Warhammer 40k, or any other tabletop miniature game, you may find this project appealing.
