Expendables Writer To Help With The Wonder Woman 2 Script

Dave Callaham, who helped write The Expendables, has been revealed to help write the script for Wonder Woman 2. Not only did he help write The Expendables, but he also worked on The Expendables 2 and Godzilla 2014.

This latest piece of news was revealed exclusively by The Hollywood Reporter.

Dave Callaham is working with both Patty Jenkins and Geoff Johns to write Wonder Woman 2.

The report says Jenkins and Johns have been working on a treatment for the last couple of months, so Callaham is there to help finalize the full script.

The only thing that might worry some hardcore DC fans is that Callaham helped write the screenplay for DOOM. DOOM is one of the worst video game movies ever made.

To be fair though. that was the first script that Callaham wrote for a blockbuster movie. Hopefully he has improved his writing skills since then.

There's no official word on what the story of the sequel will be about yet. Rumors have been flying that it will be set in the '80s during the Cold War.

Jenkins is also keen on bringing on Wonder Woman's invisible jet which was not featured in the first movie. The cool thing about the invisible jet is that they don't have to animate it.

Wonder Woman 2 has a release date of December 13th, 2019. Warner Bros. occupied this date several weeks ago, although they may have to change the date.

This is because Disney pushed back the release date of Star Wars: Episode IX to December 20th, 2019. There will be an overlap of fans since both franchises feature strong female leads and have lots of action.

Hopefully Warner Bros. moves Wonder Woman to November instead.
