The Ellen Show kicks off with some pretty hilarious monologues from host, Ellen DeGeneres. This one was no exception as she took on the super moon event and laid out some of the effects.

DeGeneres wanted to know if anyone saw the super moon and joked that whenever the super moon shows up, the regular moon is nowhere to be found. She said she is starting to think it's the same moon.

She continued to educate her audience by telling them the next super moon won't occur until the year 2034 but astronomers always say things like that.

Meanwhile, DeGeneres shared some of her photos of the super moon and said that when the moon gets close enough to the Earth and sees what's going on, it moves away. She laid out some effects of the moon including what she claims to be a fuller glass of wine.
