In one of the most hilarious Twitter competitions ever, Ellen DeGeneres is trying to hold her Oscar's photo retweet record, from a high school kid that is determined to earn free chicken nuggets from Wendy's for a year.

Carter Wilkerson sent out a tweet asking how many retweets he needed to earn free chicken nuggets for a year and Wendy's actually gave him a number of 18 million.

He has already amassed over 2.7 million retweets and DeGeneres' Oscar photo holds the record at 3.3 million retweets. DeGeneres told her viewers and audience that she does not want to be beat by "some chicken nugget kid."

DeGeneres, however, is trying to create a win-win situation for herself and Wilkerson.

She asks that fans retweet her Oscar selfie for every retweet they make of Wilkerson.

To make sure fans knew how important this was, she and Bradley Cooper starred in a public service announcement, urging fans to help keep their record alive and while at it, helping Wilkerson get his free chicken nuggets for a year.
