In just under two months, the biggest movie of 2018 will be released as Avengers: Infinity War will be invading cinema screens all over the world.

The Box Office potential for the film is huge thanks to the great reception Black Panther is currently having.

Box Office analyst website, Box Office Pro, has now predicted the domestic (North American) gross of Avengers: Infinity War.

Even though the predictions are huge, the film still might not be able to catch up with 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Instead of giving out one prediction, the site has given a range for the movie's Box Office potential in North America. It could be on track to get the second biggest opening weekend of all time.

Anyway, the film is currently projected to gross between $200 million to $235 million in its opening weekend. It should be the sixth movie ever to get a three day opening weekend above the $200 million mark.

As for the full domestic gross, the prediction is that the film could have a final tally of between $490 million to $590 million.

The reason the final gross is kind of lower is because it's expected the film is going to end on a cliffhanger.

Most movies that have grossed over $600 million in North America had proper endings. It's likely Avengers 4 next year might gross more money since that will be the proper conclusion to the current slate of MCU films.

Personally, I still think the Box Office potential for Avengers: Infinity War is going to be huge. Black Panther is a standalone MCU film and it's getting monster-like numbers already.

Infinity War not only includes Black Panther, but every other popular MCU hero too.

Don't be too shocked if these predictions change because there's a strong chance the film's tracking numbers will be trending upwards the closer we get to its April 27th, 2018 release date.
