Drew Barrymore appeared on "The View" Friday, where she and life-long friend Whoopi Goldberg dished it out about how it feels to be forty years old.

American audiences remember Barrymore as a young actress growing up on the screen, and now she's been in countless films (even alongside Whoopi Goldberg), has even directed a few of her own, and is the mother of two children.

"Last time you were here, you had just given birth," Goldberg said.
"I just had Olive," Barrymore said. And now she has a second daughter, named Frankie.

Barrymore has enjoyed seeing her daughter's personalities come to light over the years.

"I tap dance, and I goofball with Olive all the time, but she's a serious customer," she said, while Frankie is the opposite, and more like her mother.

The ladies played a clip of Barrymore from when she was in "E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial" as a little girl.

"I can not wait to show that to my girls," Barrymore said. Her children have even been on play dates with Jimmy Fallon's kids.

She's on the verge of her fortieth birthday, and she is happy and excited to say she finally feels like a grown up.

"I've never been the age I felt," she said, but she feels like she's finally earned her years. Drew Barrymore turns forty on February 29, 2015.

Barrymore also told the ladies on "The View" about her new line of Flower fragrances, available exclusively at Walmart. The scents come in "Cherished", "Radiant", and "Sultry", and are aimed to encompass the different aspects of femininity.

Sandra Raicevic Petrovic at Fragrantica writes: "Cherished, Radiant and Sultry are fragrances of the floral collection that is all about a multifaceted woman, about signifying her emotions and many different aspects of her feminine persona.

The fragrances were designed by Stephen Nilsen of Givaudan, who composed each of them to denote the specific emotions related with different times of day."

Sounds like Barrymore has got it going on as she enters middle-aged.
