In a week where tragedy struck, Run The Jewels and DJ Shadow delivered a performance of "Nobody Speak" dedicated to the victims of violence all over, during The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

"Nobody Speak" in itself is a song politically and socially charged song masked by superficial rap lyrics that double as confession to the harsh nature of rap music. However, it's also unapologetically honest and while some of the lyrics may be violent, they are rooted in showcasing the tough situations in the U.S. today. Run The Jewels gave a powerful and high energy performance backed by DJ Shadow.

At the end of the track, Killer Mike stated that their performance was dedicated to all victims of violence from Chicago to Orlando. El-P was sporting an all over black jacket however, as they gave their final remarks, he opened the left side which showed a rainbow heart.

The message was one of spreading peace and positivity in a time where it is very much needed.

If you enjoyed "Nobody Speak" you can catch it on DJ Shadow's The Mountain Will Fall album set to release on June 24. You can watch Run The Jewels performance from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in the video below.
