Disney Reveals A Short Plot Synopsis For Solo: A Star Wars Story

Solo: A Star Wars Story has been in production for a while now, yet we have yet to see a trailer to understand what the movie is all about.

Well Disney has officially released a short synopsis now giving us more of an idea on the kind of adventure this young Han Solo will be tangled in.

The plot synopsis is pretty basic and thankfully does not feature any big spoilers of any kind. You can read the synopsis for Solo: A Star Wars Story down below.

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga's most unlikely heroes.

All we know right now is that the story will tell us how Han Solo got the Millennium Falcon in the first place.

It kind of serves as an origin story, although more about the film should be revealed once we see an official trailer.

The movie is coming out in May 2018 so Disney only has a few more months to market the film. Usually Disney releases Star Wars movies in December, so it's surprising to see this movie getting released so quickly.

The movie's production has not been smooth sailing since Ron Howard had to take over directorial duties from Christopher Miller and Phil Lord. The pair of Lego movie directors were fired for constantly going off script.

Hopefully a trailer is released very soon as the only things we have seen so far are some behind the scenes footage, plus leaked photos of some Lego sets. The movie comes out in North America on May 25th, 2018.
