A little after 6:30 on Friday exiled Opie & Anthony host tweeted that his new website AnthonyCumia.com had launched in advance of his new show launching Augst 4.

"Here we go. http://AnthonyCumia.com is up and running. Show debuts Aug 4th. NOW we're talking uncensored!"

It certainly seems like the host, who was fired by SiriusXM after a controversial Twitter rant, has plenty of fans eager for his new show/web presence as just 30 seconds after the launch tweet went out Cumia posted the following on Twitter explaining why his site was down.

RT @RallyMD:Hahaha and it is down already. You are more popular than...

-Yeah, it's getting slammed, they're on it. Kinda saw that comin!

Also on Twitter Thursday Cumia retweeted a post from a fan who said SiriusXM had been trying to stop fans from cancelling the satellite radio service by telling them that the company was negotiationg for his return.

That does not seem to be true in any way and the former Opie & Anthony looks ready to go out on his own at least until October when his former co-host of 20 years Greg "Opie" Hughes as well as sidekick Jim Norton are no longer under contract with SiriusXM.
