Creed came out in 2015 and was a great addition to the popular Rocky boxing movie franchise. A sequel is being made and more details have been revealed by Sylvester Stallone.

Sylvester Stallone made the announcement for the new Creed 2 director on his official Instagram page. You can read his statement on the topic down below.

The character of Adonis Creed reflects this generation, and I believe it is important to have a director who is part of it , that is why I think we are Lucky to have Stephen Caple ,Jr A wonderful new talent take over The directorial chores and make the story as relatable as possible... He and Michael B Jordan will deliver a knockout!

He also teased in a second Instagram post that the main antagonist for the film will be Ivan Drago's son.

He said: "Big challenges come in all shapes and forms! By the way this is just for entertainment, Drago's son will be played by a new unknown..."

He put up a big tease that WWE's Brock Lesnar might be cast in the film, although this has yet to be officially confirmed.

It's being said the film's producers are looking for someone with legit MMA and Amateur wrestling experience. Brock Lesnar has done both so he fits the bill of Dragon's son perfectly.

Dolph Lungren is to reprise his role as Ivan Drago so he will be coaching his own son in the new movie.

I want Brock Lesnar to be cast for real because he could play a good villain in a movie if he wants the role.

Creed director, Ryan Coogler, is unable to direct Creed 2 mainly because he's still busy doing the final touches on Marvel's Black Panther movie out in early 2018.
