The fifth season premiere of VH1's "Couples Therapy" introduced four new celebrity couples to begin relationship counseling at the therapy center.

Dr. Jenn Berman welcomed celebrities Dick Donato, Anthony "Treach" Criss, Deena Cortese, Juan Pablo Galavis, and their significant others to the house.

Dr. Jenn Berman, a well-known family and marriage therapist, first introduced Juan Pablo Galavis (his Twitter) and girlfriend Nikki Ferrell, who met on the 18th season finale of "The Bachelor." Right as that season finale ended the problems started. He broke show etiquette when he did not propose to Ferrell, and later not saying he loves her when shared her feelings with him.

They live in different cities, and Ferrell claimed that she wants to move forward and that this will be the ultimate test of their relationship.

Their meeting with Dr. Jenn was the first therapy session to appear this season, and she told them that they are going to need to level the playing field of their relationship before things can work out.

MTV's "Jersey Shore" star Deena Cortese (her Twitter) and boyfriend Chris Buckner arrived at the house. Both admitted they are young party people, but that they really understand each other.

They admitted they have compromising issues, but that they are looking to move forward and see how serious their relationship really is. Dr. Jenn said that in order for them to work, they need to be able to grow together.

The next couple introduced by Dr. Jenn was Anthony "Treach" Criss (@triggertreach), from the legendary hip hop group Naughty by Nature, and girlfriend Cicely Evans. One of their biggest hits was "O.P.P." which stands for "other people's p****," was considered a cheating song by Cicely.

She claims that he has been unfaithful, but he says those occasions only occurred when they weren't together.

They agree they fight in front of the kids too much and that they have to figure out their relationship really quick.

The end of the episode showed that this would be a true test for them as they engaged in a very heated yelling argument.

Next in the house was the winner of season eight of CBS's "Big Brother" Dick "Evil Dick" Donato (@EvelDick). He and his girlfriend Stephanie Rogness-Fischer split ten months ago and arrived at the house separately. She got tired of his free spirit attitude and the two decided to go their separate ways after dating for four years.

They admit that there are still feelings for each other, and they came to the house to find out which way they will go, whether that is together or apart.

The awkwardness in their situation was clear from the start and no one was shy in admitting it.

All the couples introduced themselves to each other as they arrived at the house. Over drinks they shared personal information, from how they met to the complications that exist in their relationships.

From the start friendships were being made while tensions arose between the other characters.

Most of the tension focused around the awkwardness of Fischer and Donato and the other couples tried to get a real feel of how they are.

It was clear that Donato would be the one to bring the drama to the house because he speaks with no filter.

Dr.

Jenn met with all the couples at once and briefed them on exactly what they would be going through in the house.

She told them that it will not be easy, and that they will be doing, "some serious f****** work." If tonight's premier is any indication of how the season will go, viewers are in for a roller coaster ride of emotions as the couples will either come together or grow apart.

The next episode of "Couples Therapy" airs Wednesday Sept. 17th at 9 p.m. on VH1. For more information and content from the show visit vh1.com
