Eddie Murphy, Redd Foxx, Jamie Foxx, Chris Rock and Bill Cosby are all comic geniuses. They have set the pace. Some have even crossed over to television and film success.

They will go down in history as some of the greatest to ever do it. Having styles that the newcomers copy and chase after, those comedians have paved the way. I have followed a lot of comedian's careers extensively and this one was no exception.

Seeing him in music videos and low budget local movies he has climbed himself to the top of the charts. But seeing that and knowing that, does that make him the funniest man alive? I wonder.

Would any one contest that? We would have to see.

Kevin Hart is the face of comedy in this decade.

I remember seeing Kevin Hart in a movie titled "Death of a Dynasty". It was a film that was produced by Damon Dash. The movie was filled with rappers and singers. It included a lot of noticeable faces but there was one that I was unfamiliar with.

It was a young Kevin. He played the lead character and he was trying to get his life together.

On his journey of doing so he came upon a lot of obstacles. While he would meet up on a lot of these problems, the way he got into them and and go out of it would be highly comical.

The next time I saw him he had a small but hilarious part in Steve Carrell's movie "The 40 Year Old Virgin". He played a disgruntled customer and had an argument with one of the clerks and to me this was the finniest part in the movie. Years later and that's all a memory. Kevin Hart is now a household name killing the box offices and setting records and trends.

Stopping isn't something he's going to do any time soon. He is on the charts, in music videos - just all over the place but does that mean he is the funniest man alive? Are Aziz and Russell any contest? I think that's up to opinion.

He has made it from the bottom and worked his way up to the top.

I can honestly say that I am a fan, and if Kevin works as hard as he is working now, I can see him going down as one of the best in history.

He is in a class of his one and nothing will break Kevin Hart.
