In Marysville, a little town close to Melbourne, Bruno Torfs created an incredible garden that people renamed "Sad Bruno".

The artist, born in South Africa, located his works of art in a rain forest, creating a garden filled with incredible wooden works immersed in the green.

Surreal creatures carved from trees populate the forest made it a fantasy place to run away from the urban world and mundane daily life. In 2009, a fire created a lot of damage in Marysville but incredibly enough, at least 60% of his sculptures survived.

Torfs worked hard to restore the garden back to its usual glory and charm. The artist is constantly adding new work and the garden is now open to the public as 'Bruno's Art Sculpture Garden'.
