ComplexCon Daytime Panel Program To Include Topics In Pop Culture, Social Justice and More

Complex announced new details for ComplexCon, taking place in Long Beach, CA on Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6.

Daytime programming tracks led by curators including: Jay Pharoah, TJ Miller, Dennis Hayseburg, Sam Jackson, Snoop Dog, and Takashi Murakami will kick off Saturday November 5.

Complex Conversations themes dig into core elements that make up pop culture including Comedy, Entertainment, Marijuana/Cannabis Culture, Movies, Music, Politics, Sci-Fi, Social Justice, Sneakers, Sports and Technology.

Jesse Williams has joined ComplexCon as an influential speaker spearheading Complex Conversations, a new format of panel discussions with a live audience.

Williams will lead a 90-minute panel to discuss technology from a very unique perspective and has been hands on with shaping the conversations for each panel.

Williams is the Curator for tech and innovation, themes the actor and activist is very passionate about.

Along with the lineup announcement of the Complex Conversations panels, Complex has announced Director/ Executive Chair, Pharrell Williams and Scott Verner will be hosting a live taping of the Beats1 Radio Show, OTHERone, from the convention floor.

OTHERone is a podcast which airs every other Sunday discussing music, current events, and more.

Known for flipping pop cultural icons to make subversive statements on different social messages, Ron English has worked in many different mediums, becoming one of the most recognized artists today.

Contemporary Los Angeles based artist Patrick Martinez, known for his thought provoking neon paintings and installations, will produce a special site-specific installation at ComplexCon.
