CM Punk Seemingly Confirms He's Fighting At UFC 225 In Chicago

Former WWE Superstar and current UFC fighter CM Punk last fought in an MMA match back in September 2016 where he lost in under two minutes against Mickey Gall.

Well it sounds like we will see him inside the UFC octagon again very soon as a date for this MMA return now seems to be set.

An MMA fan asked CM Punk on Twitter when will he fight/cry inside the octagon again. Punk's reply was pretty blunt as you can see from his tweet posted down below.

"June nine, after I win and lock eyes with my beautiful wife, embrace my coaches and shout out my entire team."

June 9th, 2018 is when UFC 225 happens in CM Punk's own hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

It's rumored Punk will be fighting a fighter named Mike Jackson who currently has the same fight record as Punk with just one loss and zero wins.

The two actually have some type of history because CM Punk insinuated Mike Jackson was just a scrub during an interview two years ago. Punk didn't think Jackson was as tough as a fighter as Mickey Gall back then.

Since the two fighters have identical fight records, we could see an even match between the two.

Gall was way too experienced for Punk which is why his first fight didn't last every long as he tapped out in two minutes.

It will be interesting to see if Punk has been able to improve his MMA skills since September 2016. Despite being 39 years old, Punk still wants to have a semi-successful UFC career as he retired from professional wrestling back in 2014.
