UFC 225 was an interesting night for fans of both WWE and UFC fans.

Former WWE wrestler CM Punk lost his second ever fight in UFC while on the same night current WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey was announced to be inducted to the UFC Hall of Fame.

First let's talk about CM Punk who has improved as an MMA fighter since his first fight back in September 2016. His second opponent Mike Jackson was a bit easier to handle, although both fighters looked like beginners.

The most notable thing CM Punk did was a takedown in the first round along with a few punches.

Sadly for Punk, the remaining two rounds were not kind for him as he gassed out pretty early on and looked sloppy.

Mike Jackson could have ended the fight early, but he decided to toy with Punk for the remaining two rounds. Mike Jackson ended up winning the fight by unanimous decision based on points.

To be fair, CM Punk looked far better here at UFC 225 compared to his first fight. I have a feeling Punk might want to fight one more time before he calls it quits.

In related news, it was announced after Punk's fight that Ronda Rousey will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. This is significant because she is the first female to receive this honor.

Rousey was huge in the UFC by becoming a champion and being undefeated for many years. However after she started losing in MMA, Rousey decided to quit the UFC and is now in the entertainment business wrestling in the WWE.

Ronda Rousey will be inducted in July 2018. For now, fans can check her out first next week when she faces Nia Jax at Money in the Bank for the Raw Women's title.
