Chris Jericho's Fozzy band has announced when their next album will be out.

The album is being called 'Judas' which is the same name as the band's first single from this new album. Chris Jericho has really high hopes that this album will do very well.

As reported by Loudwire, the release date for Fozzy's 'Judas' album is October 13th. The single of the same name accumulated over 7 million views on YouTube which is a huge success.

Jericho even mentioned to the website that he had to vouch for the song to become a single. Century Media wanted other songs to be the single first.

Jericho is saying this album has the potential to have four or six more singles. He feels it's strong like many other Heavy Metal albums released in the past.

This is the band's first album since 2014's "Do You Want To Start A War". The band had been on a mini hiatus since Jericho went back to wrestle for the WWE for over one year.

Fozzy will be back on tour in late September and beyond in order to support the new album. Hopefully some new singles will be released soon so we can hear how good the full album can be.

The song Judas sounds similar to the material the band produced in the early '00s. The full album could have a more heavy sound to it.

Since Fozzy is in full swing, it's doubtful Jericho will be able to appear for Smackdown Live for the remainder of the year.

He made a surprise appearance last week, but he will be occupied for the coming months. Jericho loves professional wrestling, so he's not set on retiring anytime soon.
