Chloe Grace Moretz voices in the new animated comedy 'Red Shoes and the 7 Dwarfs', but the actress has hit out about the marketing for the film.

A poster for the film somewhat body shames people that are chubby and those that are short.

Tess Holiday tweeted out a photo she took and the poster suggests that fat people are not beautfiful. It's the wrong type of message to teach to the younger generation.

Since Chloe Grace Moretz voices in the movie, she too is appalled by the poster's not so subtle dig at fat people.

Moretz said in a series of tweets her criticisms towards the marketing for her own film. You can read her comments below.

I have now fully reviewed the marketing for Red Shoes, I am just as appalled and angry as everyone else, this wasn't approved by me or my team. Please know I have let the producers of the film know. I lent my voice to a beautiful script that I hope you will all see in its entirety. The actual story is powerful for young women and resonated with me. I am sorry for the offense that was beyond my creative control.

There's still time for the marketing department to change the posters that have been parading around. The last thing that the movie studio wants is some negative publicity.

Moretz has been critical in the past for not choosing movie roles that portay women in a negative light.

It's understandable that she is upset with the way the poster has been made. It sounds like the actual movie will have a positive and powerful message that this poster fails to portray.
