'Build Your Board' Kickstarter Campaign Offers Customized Boards Through An App

Snowboarding is all about style and what's more stylish than a custom board?

The "Build Your Board" Kickstarter has been funded by an already existing snowboard company called Terror Snow, reports Whitelines. The idea behind the Kickstarter is to create a system for intermediate to advanced level riders to create a customized board for themselves.

In order to do this, Terror Snow is taking advantage of the technological world we live in by promising people who want to buy customized boards an app that will allow them to create their board - that is, if their Kickstarter campaign comes to fruition.

While the fund is asking for a whopping $90,000, there are various incentives for people who make donations. Depending on the size of the donation you can have your name placed in the app menu, (?1) or your own customized snowboard at a discounted price for ?135 (about $220) while supplies.

This is an outstanding deal for anyone who is looking for a new board, considering most low end boards cost around $350 - $400.

As far as the actual customizations being offered, Terror Snow promises to give multiple camber options, 10 board sizes in a range from 143 CM - 161 CM, differing board stiffness for personal preference and/or choice of discipline, and choice of the board's base and topshet graphics.
