BJ The Chicago Kid, O.T. Genasis, Uzi & Lion Babe Top Billboard's Emerging Artists Chart

The Billboard Emerging Artists Chart is heating up with some rising talent as BJ The Chicago Kid, O.T. Genasis, Uzi and Lion Babe have the top four spots on lock for the moment.

The ever-changing Billboard Emerging Artists Chart is heavily weighted in the Hip-Hop and R&B genres at the moment. In at number one is BJ The Chicago Kid and his R&B lyrics displayed throughout "B.A.M." featuring Freddie Gibbs.

The song is all about only "f***ing" with "bad b******." Both Kid and Gibbs have verses that talk about sex and all of the things that make a woman appealing to them.

They also allude to spending money on a woman and keeping her around the finer things in life; cash, cars clothes.

In at number two is O.T. Genasis and his drug anthem "CoCo." The music video says it all the song is driven by a hard-hitting street beat.

Genasis and his crew are seen at the table whipping up and packing up mock cocaine.

It is a hustler's anthem as he raps about selling drugs and the gang-war over them as well.

He also pays homage to the "BMF" crew by stating that he is "Blowing Money Fast." The hyped up drug driven anthem is steadily moving up the charts, but does it have what it takes to reach the top?

At number three is Uzi and their brand new take on "Blue" originally by Eiffel 65. Using a hip-hop beat and some lyrical delivery skills paired with an autotune Uzi brings one of the most popular songs of the past back to the present.

The infectious beat makes it very appealing to the ears and also has a twist of EDM hidden, mostly from the Eiffel 65 sample.

Uzi is a featured act on Wiz Khalifa's "Big Secret Tour" and has been making a dash up the emerging artists chart.

The NY team of Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman form Lion Babe who sit at number four with their hit "Jump Hi," featuring Childish Gambino. The soulful and arousing voice of Hervey is paired with Goodman's use his production skills to create something catchy and bright.

They encourage fans to find their light in the darkest sky in an uplifting and upbeat song about empowerment.

Gambino lays down an energetic verse about his come-up and his life as he reached his fame.

The song is accompanied by a fun video full of Goodman and Hervey jumping high, can "Jump Hi" pounce it's way to the number one spot?

As these artists round out the top four, OG Maco has recently made his was back up the ranks with "U Guessed It," pushing Blu back to the sixth spot.
