The Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice film has been a heavy topic of discussion and has come under fire from critics. However, Ben Affleck responded to the critic response on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Fallon took a different approach in his discussion of Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice film by reading the critic reviews of Affleck's performance alone.

He revealed that Comicbook.com hailed Affleck as the best on-screen Batman which is pretty high praise given the critically acclaimed success of Christian Bale's portrayal of the Dark Knight.

The fans began to cheer and celebrate Affleck's accolades but he had a more serious and dismissive look on his face.

"Don't scare people into thinking this is a critical film," said Affleck.

"We're not going for the film critics circle this is an audience movie. People actually like this movie."

It looks like Affleck is already shutting out all of the critics and reviews and wants to concentrate on what the fans think about the film instead. You can watch Affleck's interview with Jimmy Fallon in the video below.
