Arguably the best female wrestler in recent memory is heading to the main roster of the WWE. The undefeated Asuka has been announced to be joining the Monday Night Raw roster later this year. Will she be able to make a strong impact like she did at NXT?

Asuka will be debuting on Monday Night Raw sometime in October after she heals from a collarbone injury.

Many people hoped she would debut on Smackdown Live, but WWE felt the Raw roster needed more depth. This is interesting because the Raw roster has more women than on Smackdown Live.

Raw has the following women wrestlers: Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Nia Jax, Emma, Mickie James, Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke. Smackdown Live has: Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Tamina, Naomi and Carmella.

The only reason the Raw roster seems to lack "depth" is because the writers/bookers only concentrate on some of the wrestlers. The only people that get lots of TV time include Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks.

Nia Jax gets some screentime and that's about it. Bayley is currently injured, while the rest of the women on Raw have to fight to just get a match.

Things aren't so bad over on Smackdown Live because most of the women get screentime. With Asuka being added to Raw, the likes of Emma, Mickie James, Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke will continue not being booked on television.

Anyway, hopefully the Raw writers do not ruin Asuka's momentum.

She is still undefeated and hopefully they don't waste her winning streak by losing to someone at a throwaway PPV. Her winning streak needs to end in big fashion such as at a WrestleMania event.
