The last time Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared on the Howard Stern SiriusXM radio show was prior to him running for Governor of California.

Now he returns to promote the new "Terminator Genisys" film and addresses his son's relationship with Miley Cyrus before the split.

Schwarzenegger began by commenting on Robin's weight saying how much weight she's lost since the last time he saw her and how good she looks, according to MarksFriggin.

Stern joked about whether or not he could have ever had Schwarzenegger's physique to which he replied he could have but everyone has different genes.

This evolved into a conversation about how many people don't understand bodybuilding. The Terminator star revealed that he wanted bodybuilding to be his big ticket into the movies, all while propelling the sport itself.

For those who didn't know, body builders are making a million plus a year on endorsements and other things according to Schwarzenegger.

His first film "Conan The Barbarian" was difficult for him because he was unable to swing the sword because of his physique according to the interview.

He worked through it and eventually was able to blossom into the actor we all know today.

Schwarzenegger began the "Terminator" talk by saying that James Cameron looked at him and said he should play the Terminator, according to MarksFriggin.

"Arnold said that he looked at how many lines he had to say he didn't want to go backwards, He said he wanted to perform. He said that James told him that he would make him the movie.

He said he's a machine and he was acting a machine. Howard said he had the wisdom to listen to the guy. Howard said Arnold listened to Joe Weider too."

Stern commented that the actor almost blew his famous line "I'll be back" because he wanted to say "I will be back" instead, however, Schwarzenegger said he wanted to change it because he wanted to maintain the fact that he was a machine.

They continued to plug the new film and he told Stern that he learned how to put a weapon together without looking by using a blindfold.

After the "Terminator Genisys" discussion Stern began exploring other topics, including the fact that his son Patrick was dating Miley Cyrus. Interestingly enough Stern wanted to know if Schwarzenegger was nervous about his son dating Cyrus before they inevitably split.

"Howard asked if the kids come to him or do they just do their own thing. Arnold said they just do their own thing," according to MarksFriggin.

"He said his kids are very strong. He said they know how far they can go. He said they should be adventurous.

He said that he wasn't worried about that. He said he did meet Miley Cyrus during the holidays. He said he found out that she was a fantastic person."

Schwarzenegger continued to rave about how good of a person Cyrus was from buying presents for kids and playing with them.

"He said she has to be out there for her career but so what," according To MarksFriggin. "He said it didn't bother him. He said the whole thing eventually fell apart though."

"Terminator Genisys" hits theaters on July 1 and features actress Emilia Clarke who plays Khaleesi on "Game of Thrones."
