Ever since Miley Cyrus sent a supposedly homeless (but still good looking) young man to accept an award for her at the MTV Video Music Awards there has been a strong backlash to the stunt.

Though Cyrus was, in her words, attempting to raise awareness of the plight of homeless young people, the news media has uncovered some dirt on the person she used to make her statement.

Now Anthony Cumia has gotten into the fray calling the homeless person she used a "phony."

"I've seen a lot of homeless people," the host said on "The Anthony Cumia Show." "He ain't it."

Cumia described the alleged homeless man as "looking like a male model."

The man identified himself as a "runaway, homeless youth."
