If you're like us, you can't get enough of Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.

But try as we might, even in 2016, we still can't find Amy on Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, or even Facebook. So we have to ask: Amy Poehler, where are you?

As much as we've been in denial, the fact is, we haven't heard too much from Amy Poehler in a while. Amy had a giant 2014 and 2015, winning numerous awards -- including the Golden Globe for best actress -- and producing and creating new shows, such as Welcome to Sweden.

But Amy's 2016 has been decidedly quiet. Other than an obscure BBC show and a few random appearances, we haven't heard of any new projects produced or created by Amy.

Still, the problem we have is far bigger than that.

Amy is nowhere to be found on any of the social media platforms - Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, even Facebook.

So without seeing much of her new work on TV or in films this year, we feel like were stuck in a horrible drought.

Amy Poehler: Wherefore Art Thou?

So why can't we find Amy Poehler on any social media site? According to the an interview in Paper Magazine, Amy's aversion to social media goes back several years, and it coincides with the similar pattern of her friend and partner in crime Tina Fey.

"I'm not a real social media person," Amy said to the magazine. "I try not to read too much online because I always get my feelings hurt, even if someone's flattering you."

Amy continued, "the amount of Instagram selfies seems crazy out of control... 'This is my v-----! I'm going to put s--- all over me and take pictures!'"

Amy Poehler does have a social media presence for her organization "Amy's Smart Girls." Unfortunately, it isn't written by Amy, and it doesn't have Amy's comedic style or trademark wit.

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, Two Peas in a Pod

Amy's feelings mirror that of Tina Fey, who, according to Time, was once asked by a fellow actor why she wasn't on Twitter. "Why would I give my jokes away for free?" Was her reply.

For those of us who need a steady dose of Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, that serves as little consolation.

Hopefully will be seeing a new project from Amy in the very near future. Sadly, though, we aren't getting our hopes up about an Amy Poehler Snapchat anytime soon.
