'All About That Bass' Singer Meghan Trainor Nominated For AMA's New Artist Of The Year

She may be "All About That Bass," but Meghan Trainor is looking to become another household name as she has been nominated for the America Music Awards' New Artist of the Year awards.

While singing a song that is all about loving the body that you are in, Trainor has managed to land herself right in the ranking of some of the best new artists.

She joins Bastille, Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith and 5 Seconds of Summer in the category for best new artist and showed her excitement via Instagram and Twitter and also encouraged her fans to vote for her.

"Ahhh!! I'm nominated for #AMAs New Artist of the Year Vote Vote Vote here amavote.com," read Trainor's caption on her Instagram photo. She is clearly enjoying the success of a song and while being nominated for an AMA she is also one of MTV's Artists to watch.

To give her fans a little enticement in continuing to follow her on her career, she took some time out to do an exclusive performance of "All About That Bass" for MTV.
