Well the rumors were true, Adele was asked to perform at the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show, however, it doesn't appear to be her kind of venue. The singer publicly addressed why she will not be performing during the Halftime Show.

"First of all I'd like to tell you that I'm not doing the Super Bowl," said Adele during her Los Angeles set on August 13.

"I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don't really, I can't dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I said no."

Super Bowl rumors had been circulating for a couple of weeks now and Adele wanted to make sure her fans weren't misled when it came to her decision.

Quite frankly, the explanation made a lot of sense and she felt it would be more suited towards an act who would deliver an all-around performance.

The fans did not react too well at first but cheered after the explanation. So, now that Adele is out of the running who could we see at the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show? Perhaps Kanye West? Or Maybe Taylor Swift?
