Hip-Hop rising star Action Bronson isn't just a food connoisseur he also dabbles in the sneaker collecting side of the hip-hop culture as well.

His latest pick-ups from the end of November to the beginning of December shows that he takes a different approach when it comes to his kicks.

The sneaker culture is undoubtedly related to the success on Michael Jordan and Hip-Hop. While Air Jordan, Nike and Adidas are among the top name brands that are sought after in terms of sneakers, a few brands have been able to break through in the "runners" category.

Thanks to artists like Action Bronson and others who explore other options brands like Asics and New Balance are making a come back.

Before giving full credit to the artists, there are a few boutiques such as Bodega, KITH, and Foot Patrol that have created special edition color-ways of a few models from each brand that initially propelled them further into popularity.

That being said, Bronson who has a substantial amount of Instagram followers posted his newest pick-ups all of which are some of the hottest runner collaborations this year.

The first pick-up was a pair of Asics Gel Kayano's that were part of a Foot Patrol collaboration. The olive suede upper sets the sneaker off quite nicely as Bronson continues to show love for a brand he supports.

Much love to @kithnyc for these

Kith designer Ronnie Fieg collaborated with New Balance on a pack of sneakers containing a pair 850's and 530's. The pack was in honor or New York City landmarks such as Central Park and the Brooklyn Bridge. Bronson also made sure he shouted out KITH for his pick-up.

Finally Bronson received a special 2 of 15 model of the Bodega Get Wet Asics Gel Lyte V. The boutique out in Boston laced Bronson up with the kicks a rain jacket and the USB containing a copy of their mixtape mixed by DJ DURKIN.
