"90 Day Fiance" Season 4 Episode 1 Full Recap: Will This Be the Best Season Yet?

The hit TLC series, 90 Day Fiance is the train wreck that you feel guilty staring at but you just can't look away from. And this season is no different.

Season 4 starts with a whole new cast of characters, and there are several couples to look out for during upcoming episodes.

If you missed the premiere, we've got the rundown for you on every "I do" and every promise that may or may not be kept this season.

90 Day Fiance takes off with the same premise as with past seasons. Five couples, one partner of whom is a US citizen, and the other an immigrant, pledge to get married and navigate the murky world of K1 visas.

According to immigration law, once the immigrant partner visits the US, couples have 90 days to decide if they will marry.

Nicole and Azan are the first couple to be featured in the premiere episode of 90 Day Fiance. Nicole tells us that she has a 2 year old daughter named May. She talks about how she met May's father online, but once she got pregnant he decided he no longer wanted to be with her.

Nicole explains that she also met Azan online. She felt attracted to him immediately and intrigued by his exotic roots.

She notes that she didn't really know where Morocco, his home country, was located, and was surprised to find out that it's in Africa.

Chantel and Pedro are the next couple to introduce themselves in the premiere of 90 Day Fiance. Chantel explains that she's from a close knit family and was introduced to Pedro by a friend when she wanted to learn Spanish.

Chantel soon visited him in the Dominican Republic and once they'd met in person, she describes falling for him.

One twist revealed by Chantel is that while she and Pedro are engaged and he's going to be starting his 90 day stay in the US living with her and her family, her parents don't actually know about their plans to get married.

Next up in tonight's episode of 90 Day Fiance, we're introduced to Jorge. Jorge talks about how he's made a career as an entrepreneur in the marijuana industry. He first spotted his fiance, Anfisa,who is Russian, online. Anfisa wouldn't acknowledge him, however, until he made her laugh. Jorge points out that he did not wish to continue dating American women because they're "too feminist." He says that he first met Anfisa in person in Spain.

They've traveled around the world together, including to Paris and Italy. Jorge points out that to mark Anfisa's arrival, she's demanded a Chanel purse.

He makes a trip to the store, but winds up only buying her a low end bracelet. Looks like someone's in for an early disappointment. Jorge also reveals that he's kept some secrets from Anfisa.

The next couple from 90 Day Fiance is Matt and Alla. Matt is from Kentucky and runs a car dealership. He works with his niece and his twin brother. Matt tells us that he's been married 3 times before. However, he was cheated on in both his first and third marriages.

He notes that his baggage keeps him from attracting women locally. He met Alla in Eastern Europe, Kiev. Matt and Alla met on a dating website.

Alla has a son, Max. Matt is truly thrilled to have both Alla and Max coming to visit him.

When we next see Chantel, she's moving out of her family's home into her new apartment. Chantel tells us that she's afraid to tell her parents that she'll be marrying Pedro.

Chantel's mom seems skeptical of Pedro. Chantel reveals that because her family has always had high expectations of her, she's concerned her parents will judge Pedro harshly.

Meanwhile, Nicole is having a family get-together before her trip to Morocco. Nicole's family has reservations about Azan's intentions. They're also worried about Nicole's safety in Morocco.

At the dinner table, Nicole's family points out that Azan is Muslim. This apparently gives them concern.

Nicole's mother may be the night's biggest turncoat when she deadpans to the camera that "Nicole is not the most beautiful girl out there," and this in particular, is why she question Azan.

In the next segment, Jorge meets with his sister and his niece to discuss his trip to Russia, and his plans with Anfisa. Of course, both are skeptical.

He tells the story of Anfisa's wanting a Chanel bag, and that makes his sister and niece even more concerned. Jorge says he respects their opinion, but he's not going to listen to anyone else about his love life.

Chantel, meanwhile, dresses up in a bustier to meet 90 Day Fiance Pedro, but he doesn't show up immediately. As she waits, the tension builds.

It turns out, he's in Florida because he (probably) missed his flight, which makes Chantel furious. She starts to question her situation with Pedro.

Returning to the car dealership, we see Matt discussing Alla with his friends and his brother.

His friends clearly don't have a positive prognosis for this relationship, calling it a "trainwreck." Still, they vow to support him to the best they can.

This episode of 90 Day Fiance draws to a close with Jeorge waking up at an airport hotel awaiting Anfisa's call. He tries to call her, but apparently, she wirelessly erased his phone; she changed his email password too.

It looks like at this point, the plan to go to Russia is off... but is it?

We'll find out the answer to that, as well as what happens to Nicole, Matt, and the others on season 4 of 90 Day Fiance.
