The 2014 CBGB Music & Film Festival will showcase a wide array of artists and music-focused films taking place from Wednesday, October 8th through Sunday, October 12th.

Events during the five-day annual festival will be held at venues across Manhattan and Brooklyn including Times Square, Center 548, Bowery Electric, City Winery, Pianos, Knitting Factory and more. Festival and ticket information is available at www.cbgbfest.com.

The five-day festival features emerging and established artists including:

Jane's Addiction - One of alternative rock's most influential acts, Jane's Addiction, is coming to New York to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their album, Nothing's Shocking, by playing the album in its entirety.
Devo - Known for their eccentric, unconventional stage shows and ground breaking sound, Devo brings its unique combination of punk, alt rock and new wave music to the CBGB festival.
Robert DeLong - American electronic musician will cater to a range of tastes with his amalgamating indie rock and house style.
Surfer Blood - Pioneers in the indie scene, West Palm Beach-based Surfer Blood will thrill festival-goers with their critically acclaimed surf-rock style.
We Are Scientists - Post-rock revival, indie rock band will hit the stage in their hometown for a high-energy, enthusiastic set.
Macy Gray - Iconic R&B and soul musician and actress will feature her distinctive sound during an intimate show.
Cheeky Parade -One of Japan's rising girl groups is bringing enough energy and excitement to keep you dancing all day.

The CBGB Film Festival, one of the largest film festivals in the country and the only to exclusively feature music-focused films, will premiere and showcase a myriad of feature films, documentaries and short films including:

Hardcore Devo Live - The world premiere of this new film takes you into the brains that created the concept, the music and the spectacle of Devo.
This Is Spinal Tap - In honor of the film's 30th Anniversary, the festival will celebrate this ground breaking film but screening the rock music mockumentary.
Like Sunday Like Rain - Starring Leighton Meester, Debra Messing and Billie Joe Armstrong, this film follows a struggling musician who becomes the guardian of an adolescent music wunderkind for one summer.
With You - Grammy nominated house DJ, Dirty South, wrote, directed and shot this short film that celebrates the release of his second studio album, With You.
The Winding Stream - A moving documentary of the American roots music dynasty, the Carters and the Cashs.
